Over the Threshold

As you saw in my previous post I'm loving the outdoors on these nice warm days.  I do love the fresh air and all, but most often I find I prefer a little of both; the comfort and safety of being indoors and the fresh air and sun.  Here's one way I can be assured that I can, in fact have it both ways.

Of course it's only a matter of time before we're overrun with bugs, so dad's gonna have to do something about screening in my little porch area.  Mom says knowing dad, the bugs will take over in here before that happens.

I hope dad proves mom wrong and he gets with it so you'll have a place to sun and be safe.

Have a purrfect day, Cleo. My best to your peeps. ♥

all us kitties deserve it our way all the time. i'm an indoor only girl
but that's ok since i don't know different. i do love open windows even in
Feb cold. til my nose and ears get froze. enjoy your sunny spot. we got sun today too, but i'm in my bunk bed. by the way, i help find indoor bugs, so maybe you could too Cleo, if your dad is late with the screen.

Ha! Rupert loves to do that - hang out just inside the doorway and soak up the sun and fresh air.

Cleo well done on the best of both worlds. I think it is nice that you have the threshold for a wee bit of elevation. That way you can see what is happening without moving.

That is cool! We used to be able to do that! But Mom fixed the screen and our human brother Alex put a pet door in it. Now we are inside or outside...except Jo Jo, she has not figured out how the pet door works. Cleo, you are one lucky grrl cat! Enjoy the halfness while you can-and we hope you all have a marvellously happy day!

Your dad is not alone! I bought a curtain screen about 5 years ago to keep the flies out. It is still in the drawer waiting!

A screened in porch sounds purrfect, Cleo. We hope Dad gets that set up before those bugs invade the house!

You are a very smart girl, Cleo! I've heard about the bugs in your part of the country. Out here, we mainly get ants as problems, and unfortunately, screens don't keep those guys out.

Nice Cleo! We love our sunny room, it has screens in the windows but the mom bean quit opening the windows when Sheldon lived with us...he liked to climb the screens.

Enjoy the sun!

Cleo, we just love seeing you enjoying the best of both worlds. We know your dad will have everything ready for your outside area before the bugs start coming around. Thanks for sharing the sweet photos. Have a wonderful day.

You are very smart, Cleo...some in, some out!
When the temps rose yesterday, The Hubby went around, putting up screens. Today, it's cold, and colder tomorrow, so he was a bit ahead of things!
