Ahh, Sunshine and Fresh Air

We don't get quite the amount of sun puddles in this house as we did back in Wilmington, so when the sun does make its way in through the windows I have to grab some rays while I can.  At a certain time later in the afternoon we get this one spot between the living room chairs, and you can bet that's where I'll be found.  Gotta get it while it lasts, you know?

Since it's started to warm up some I've been slowly getting used to sitting outside on the front steps with mom and dad.  I'm very cautious since the whole outdoor thing is still pretty new to me, and never go much further than the bottom step.  Mostly I sit and sniff sniff sniff the air.  And then I'm ready to go back in.  As you'll see in the last photo I like the best of both worlds- my mat just inside the door AND the fresh air and sunshine.

It is nice to be able to find a good sun puddle. If you can get fresh air at the same time, so much the better.

I agree that you must enjoy the sun when you can.

Life is great being a spoiled cat ,right?

That sunpuddle is just right for you when the door is not open Cleo. That looks really fun sitting on the step and on your mat. You look like a pro outside sniffer

Cleo is so much like our old Peno. It took years to get her to come outside, and even then she was very cautious.

Our house is like yours with just a few sunny spots and the sunny room is just too cold most of the winter. But when the weather starts to warm up the mom bean opens up the sunny room and we're allowed out there. We've had six hours today!

Enjoy your sunpuddles wherever you find them Cleo!!

Cleo, you are very wise to take things slowly when outside, but it does look like fun! Grab those inside sun puddles when you can.

There is nothing quite like a late winter sun puddle

A nap in the sun is the best, Cleo, even if you're a human. I love your colors. You should meet my friend Slurpy, Starry and Tugs.

Cleo, that is a wonderful sun puddle you have there to enjoy. Now you have to plan it outright with the time changing this weekend. But we know you have it all planned out. Thanks for sharing your outside time photos. Have a great rest of your week.

This is what we did with Angel and Chuck, Cleo! We let them come outside onto the front porch, then I walked with them around the yard with a harness on, then just let them roam.
We aren't doing the same with Da Boyz, because we know that Manny will be up a tree within 5 seconds.

It looks like a warm place to sleep. Maybe as it warms up, you'll go out farther?
