- Hi. I'm Cleo. After being surrendered at Orange County Animal Services in Chapel Hill, NC I found myself being gawked at by a couple of humans whom I eventually adopted. I let them refer to themselves as "mom" and "dad", and they couldn't have found a better home than one filled with... me.

One recent Thursday mom and dad spent the afternoon downtown as they do now and then, and while strolling down Market Street towards the riverfront they encountered a film crew setting up for some scenes for the Hallmark Channel's upcoming "USS Christmas",
which has been filming in various locations around the city.
After doing some shopping (while wearing masks and keeping their distance from others, of course) they stopped for a couple of local brews at Ironclad and Front Street breweries, then headed to the Copper Penny for an outdoor lunch.

Dad says he's not too happy with the new Blogger at the moment. He's been having a hard time with photos and some other stuff so we haven't been posting or reading much. I say he's just getting old, and is probably the least tech-savvy person in the world. Anyway, I just love the sun, and love to stretch out wherever I find a glorious sun puddle. So that's it. Here you go. Me in the sun.

About This Blog
After more than 2 years without a live-in feline friend we found this senior Tortie gal at a local shelter and just couldn't leave without her. Cleo certainly came with an abundance of purrsonalitude, and has staked her claim on our hearts and in our home since day one. It took some long, deep thought, but I decided to pick up where Orbit left off and let Cleo tell her stories. Of course from time to time I'll add some non-Cleo posts, but she'll get over it.
