About Me

My photo
Asheville, North Carolina
Hi. I'm Cleo. After being surrendered at Orange County Animal Services in Chapel Hill, NC I found myself being gawked at by a couple of humans whom I eventually adopted. I let them refer to themselves as "mom" and "dad", and they couldn't have found a better home than one filled with... me.

Monday Morning Laugh

Seen in front of Smoky Mountain Dog Bakery in downtown Waynesville, NC during a break from all the hiking last week.  Said "break" meant about 4 miles of walking around this quaint little town if I heard mom and dad correctly.

Cleo, if those unruly kids get caffine, watch out for your tail.
They'll be wild and wanting to pull it. Stay home and wait for
your mom and dad to quite walking.

I like it! And I wish I could come along. Your folks seem like super fun adventurers.

I want to walk around with you too. I can meet you and Darla. That would be most grand.

Love that sign and I've seen dogs act way better than the kinds too.

Have a fabulous day and week, Cleo. My best to your peeps. ♥

Ahahaha funny! Maybe a puppy could teach an unruly kid some manners!

In agreement. With the suggestion that on occasion we have observed adults who should be leashed as well.

That is a great sign and we sure think some parents need to heed it. What a great time they must be having

I used to have a sign that said pets welcome children must be on a leash, but since my niece has had kids I decided to remove it. :)

Sounds like a fun place to visit, Cleo...for humans, that is...and maybe only adult humans at that!
Hahahaha!

That's a great sign.

LOL! That sign is hilarious! Those kids would be even more unruly with some espresso. Yikes.

I love it
Years ago a friend of mine and her hubby were being seated for supper.
The Hostess asked if they would prefer table or booth
They answered either is fine as just no unruly children!!

About This Blog

Created in July 2011 this blog chronicled the everyday life of a well-seasoned, spoiled house panther named Orbit. He was a nearly constant companion for almost 22 years, and ruled our roost until he passed away in December 2014, and the loss of his companionship hit us like a ton of bricks.
After more than 2 years without a live-in feline friend we found this senior Tortie gal at a local shelter and just couldn't leave without her. Cleo certainly came with an abundance of purrsonalitude, and has staked her claim on our hearts and in our home since day one. It took some long, deep thought, but I decided to pick up where Orbit left off and let Cleo tell her stories. Of course from time to time I'll add some non-Cleo posts, but she'll get over it.
