With Gratitude

Me and dad- Dad and me- whatever; anyway, we wanted to take this post to say how much we appreciate y'all visiting this here blog of ours.  Dad typically works on this thing with me only in the early morning hours for various reasons, and rarely even looks at it after work.  His head's full of other projects that he doesn't spend as much time on as he'd like, and his treasured reading time isn't quite what he'd like it to be.

We don't always have or take the time to visit and comment on others' blogs as often as we'd sometimes like to, but that doesn't mean we don't enjoy reading them when we can.  Day-to-day stuff can get in the way and before you know it days and weeks go by.  I'm not saying we're any busier than anyone else.  Lord knows we've all got full plates.

We just wanted to let you know how much we always appreciate all your comments and taking the time to keep up with us.  As with everything else in life we rarely follow what everyone else does, and we mean no offense that we don't participate in any of the blog hops, challenges and stuff.  Like mom and dad say often, we pretty much beat to the drum of our own march, or drum to the march of our own beat, or however that stupid saying goes.

Dad and Orbit started this blog almost ten years ago purely for their own entertainment, and I gladly and willingly (most of the time) carried on the tradition.  I guess this rambling discourse is just our way of saying thank you for reading our posts, and to let you know that we thoroughly enjoy reading all y'all's as often as we can.

One Grateful Tortie

Cleo, i's just glad to see u got ur dad to paint a good picture of u. at
least he made some kitty time. and u posed very well. i'm glad to have
my house back, even 12 hours was too long to share. but the puppy was a good girl, like me, very quiet with no barks. i hate barks at the vet, they scare me too much. hope u and mom and dad have a great weekend. i get to spend 4 days again this weekend alone with lynn. we have such a great girl time. precious

We discovered you late in your blogging journey but we are sooooo happy that we finally did!!!! I completely understand about not always being able to read/comment. Since Levi joined our family things have been insane.......(even more insane than normal).....I don't spend time online nearly as much as I used to. You are right, there is this thing called "life!!" lol. We are honored and flattered that you DO visit us a lot, we THANK YOU!! Your comments are always so special to us! Never worry about if you can't visit...we totally "get it" because it's the same over here! Lots of love to you, your fabulous wife and Cleo!!

Cleo, we loved Angel Orbit, and are so happy that you picked his family to be yours.
We are thankful for you!
It's all ebb and flow, and we'll all be here when your dad has time.
If only your dad and I could still make the incomes that we do now, but have unlimited time to blog, surf the web, and read books...and a few outings at parks thrown in here and there!
Oh yeah, and I need to visit museums; I'm feeling dried up without my normal influx of art and beautiful things. Cats, of course, are beautiful, but a magnificent building or painting or statue just makes me happy.

We love your blog but your dad has to have the time and passion to do it. The most important thing is that you never miss out.

!We love torties and mama had one for a long time and I kind of wish she was around here to play with because she was such a sweet kitty. And don’t worry about visiting our blog because we’re just very glad that you read it every now and then but thank you for visiting when you do,

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh Cleo darlin' you and Dad always make us smile and we appreciate all the news and fun going on up there in the NC mountains where I'm sure a part of my heart resides. If I lived there, I'd probably get nuttin' done for I'm sure the hills are alive with all kinds of fun things.

We are so furry thankful for the friends that stop by and comment and we try to get to all of our furrends and read their blogs, but somedays we don't have enough time to comment. On one is keeping score. Just do what you do for the enjoyment of it whenever you want to. Blogging should not be "work" but fun!

We think your family have a very special blog, one we have truly enjoyed from the time of Orbit. We have to meow and say that we surely appreciate your blog and how you invite us to enjoy the things you are doing and thank you so much for visiting us when you get the chance. As we were missing from you all for a time due to our own life things never, for a second, think that we care for you all less if you do not have time to visit. Some bloggers have more time to do things than others because of silly circumstance. Life is what it is. We look forward to many more years of sharing which is what we do with blog friends

Cleo - I really enjoy reading your & Dad's blog. We don't blog ourselves but we enjoy reading about other kitties. We don't often comment, but we like to let you know we are still here.

Cleo, the mom used to visit a lot more blogs than she does lately. But we try to visit when we can. We enjoy reading your posts. You have a special bond with your humans. :) ~Ernie

We're in the same boat - we try to keep up with everyone's blogs but life gets in the way! Happy 10 years of blogging, from Orbit to you. You're doing a great job.

You have a great blog, fur sure. I don't visit much myself, anymore... after I lost my two cats, now 2.5 years ago, I kept up with other blogs for months but gradually it got less and less. I still care very much about all the cat blogs I follow, it just got harder as time went on.

That is a beautiful portrait of you Cleo! I find it hard to get around to all the marvelous blogs out there myself, so I understand completely! Cheers and Meows from the kitties and me!
