About Me

My photo
Asheville, North Carolina
Hi. I'm Cleo. After being surrendered at Orange County Animal Services in Chapel Hill, NC I found myself being gawked at by a couple of humans whom I eventually adopted. I let them refer to themselves as "mom" and "dad", and they couldn't have found a better home than one filled with... me.

Cleo, you make for a masterful art pose. How wonderful dad with
thumbs could paint you so realistic. Hot here today, 90 this morn
this far in northern Ohio, yuck. Really good pose of you and dad
at the same time, too.

Aren't photo-taking humans just such a bother, Cleo?!?
I just woke up Sweetie, by taking photos from my phone.
We can blame it on you cats, who are just too precious to leave unphotographed, but we are kinda rude too.

Dad did a great job, or did you do this Cleo? Great job.

Have a fabulous day and week. My best to your dad. ☺

Well done ... of course, fine art is not all that difficult when you have purr-fect subject matter!

I have asked mom many times why she feels compelled to take my picture constantly. Would she like if I could do the same and takes HERS constantly. I think not.

About This Blog

Created in July 2011 this blog chronicled the everyday life of a well-seasoned, spoiled house panther named Orbit. He was a nearly constant companion for almost 22 years, and ruled our roost until he passed away in December 2014, and the loss of his companionship hit us like a ton of bricks.
After more than 2 years without a live-in feline friend we found this senior Tortie gal at a local shelter and just couldn't leave without her. Cleo certainly came with an abundance of purrsonalitude, and has staked her claim on our hearts and in our home since day one. It took some long, deep thought, but I decided to pick up where Orbit left off and let Cleo tell her stories. Of course from time to time I'll add some non-Cleo posts, but she'll get over it.
