Mom is always making fun of me because of my need to lay atop articles of clothing, bags, papers, etc. Yeah, the bed is comfortable enough, but her beat up sweatshirt adds a certain something I just can't describe. Whatever the reason, it gets me some extra attention from her, and that's all that matters.
On a side note, we made out okay after the storm, unlike so many others who weren't as fortunate. We pretty much stayed on the northern edge of the worst of things throughout the weekend until Monday arrived, when we saw the heaviest rain of all, and even some flooding nearby.
Dad is going to be working in Wilmington this coming week, where they need lots of extra help with post-storm cleanup.

We are glad the storm did not bother you.
We also like to lay on things, especially clothes that smell like our purrson :)
If it means getting more attention, well that's a bonus.
You are looking lovely Cleo.

You look darn happy on those comfy things sweet Cleo!
If she didn't want you to lay on it, she shouldn't leave it there. You are just adding an extra layer of fur ready for the winter. I am glad you missed the worst of the storm.
I'm glad to hear the storm didn't affect you too much, but sad about the ones who were.
Oh we love to snuggle or get all comfy on anything we can find. You do look like a happh girl. Have a wonderful week end.
Glad you are safe. This is a great photo of you. XO
Yep, this is what we kittehs do. No matter how comfy it is, it's always better with something else on top of it.
Work it, Cleo!
Tell your dad to stay safe next week.
Cleo, it's so good to hear that you and your family are okay. You look very pretty. Old sweatshirts are fabulous to lie on!
We like laying on stuff too. 'Specially the mom's clothes when she puts them on the bed. We're glad the storm wasn't too bad for you.
cleo; we are all very happy you and mom and dad are safe and safe travels to dad in the week ahead ~~~~~~~~~~ it's terrible the damage in wilmington :(

We'd heard that the roads into Wilmington were all flooded! Glad to hear that you all stayed high and dry, and my heart goes out to those who've been badly affected by the storms.
Cleo, you are beautiful! Great photo of you!
I'm glad to hear you weren't terribly impacted by the storm. I always try to lounge on top of something of Dad's, be it his hat, leather bag, newspaper. Mom's stuff isn't special to me.
