In rare moments of something as close to tenderness as she can muster, Smudge nestles herself between dad's knees atop the sleeping bag that covers the bed in wintertime.
And this is how I wish to remain as long as these effing temperatures linger...
It has been quite cold here inFrance although nowhere near the kind of temps you've been seeing. Benny provides warming services to #1 every evening as she sits and watches today!
Smudge, I think we're breaking out of the bitter cold starting today. They say it might make it all the way to 30 by this afternoon. Up until now we've had even minus 9° with schools closed day after day. You look too warm to move and you should not have to. Tell your dad not to drink too much coffee so he doesn't have to jump out of bed and run to the loo.
Smudge, We purrfectly understand you. That is Our Favoured Position during the cold winter evenings too. And when Mummy goes to bed, We join her UNDER the duvet.
We know that feeling! I sent Mrs H to buy another extra thick fleece for my bed. Did the trick, though Mrs H complained she was now too warm! Have a snuggly week. ERin
Smudge what a sweet photo of a gal who shows she knows she is living her best life, January in NC has had several hissy fits. My daughter had 8" of snow in Morehead City last week. The wind flew so hard they had 12" drifts on the side of the house. In nearly 27 years of living there never have they seen this much snow. Sending warm thoughts to you and the devoted staff Cecilia
