SUNday Snoozefest part II

So, as much as I'd like to, I can't control the cold temperatures these days. Boy, how I already miss the screen on the front storm door, the open sliders, and the fresh air flowing through the windows. Routine weather patterns, seasonal cycles, and all that bull and whatnot- whatever.

At least I can still catch the occasional sun puddle for my naps. Mom's got her melatonin, dad's daily rising at, to quote mom, "the buttcrack of dawn" is his sleep aid, but give me a nice warm puddle o' sun and I'm off to la la land for hours on end. Or at least until the sun moves. It helps, too, to have parents who cater to my every need.

Yeah, I turned the chair for her

We felines have to put up with those damn cameras in our faces constantly, and when I'm sleeping it doesn't much matter, but sometimes, well, I'm sure you can relate...

Those humans, you know they are only there to serve.

It was worth putting up with the camera to have your chair turned. I wish I could find some sun!

Smudge, Lynn has stopped with the camera fur now cause I'm still mad about the vet. So my poses are with my butt at her or UTB fur 1/2 the day. You be sure to keep lettin' know what you think and want! They need to be our slaves. Precious

Smudge, I agree with you. Lying in a sunpuddle is the "cat's meow." Especially this time of year when those puddles seem to be few and far between. ~Murphy

Lying in a sunpuddle is the BEST. We can - and do - snooze for hours in those sunpuddles.

Smudge. You rule. We are two ladies of distinction. I rule here as well and my word is THE word. Nothing gets done unless I approve. Sometimes that works against me so mom has had to toughen up a little. That last picture of you is the most stink eye I have ever EVER seen. You have ME beat! And of course he turned the chair. What's he there for?

Sunpuddles have been sorely lacking at this end of late, Smudge. We had a few yesterday but that was about it! It's only fit and proper that your parents should cater to your every need!

You are so right, Smudge. Sun puddles are the best for snoozing! Nice to know your mom and dad are catering to your every whim (as they should). We saw your comment on Anchovy's post -- tell your dad to wave as he's passing by our place, okay? Hugs!

You gotta grab those sun puddles any chance you get this time of year!

We live for sun puddles, Smudge. We feel fortunate that most days we can still go out on the catio, as we have only had a few really cold days so far. You do look a bit miffed in that final photo, but you looked at the camera, which some of us absolutely refuse to do. I'm also not a fan of the colder weather and am already looking forward to spring. At least your humans know their place and do a good job keeping you in sun puddles.
