Post-Vacation Post

Just a quick one to say "Hey".  I'm not feeling too well right now, and mom and dad are going all crazyhead trying to nurse me back to my pre-vacation health. Even though I was in good hands while they were away, we're thinking the stress of them leaving me started this here old bod on its downward slide. They've been doing their best to get me to eat and drink more, and the most excellent lady team at Cedar Ridge Animal Hospital did their pokin' & proddin' and sent mom and dad home with a bunch of crap to aggravate me juice me up and reignite my appetite. Hope y'all are well, and we'll post an update at some point.  And please, like mom and dad's dagger eyes surely told the lady doctors, we don't want to hear the stuff like "well, she IS 18" and all that crap. . .

Oh Cleo darling sweet girl I am so sorry. I know exactly what Mom and Dad are going thru. When we returned from Vacation in 2017...madi was not well. Kitties like the routine. Once we got her SUBQ's started she began to feel better and began to eat. Sending you all lots of healing hugs and love

Hope you're feeling better soon. The previous resident cats here lived to 20 and 22, so Mom's betting you'll be fine once you're over the stress.

About This Blog

Created in July 2011 this blog chronicled the everyday life of a well-seasoned house panther named Orbit, who made the move with us from Massachusetts to North Carolina. He was a nearly constant companion for almost 22 years, and ruled our roost until he passed away in December 2014 which hit us like a ton of bricks.
After more than 2 years without a live-in feline friend we found this senior Tortie gal at Orange County Animal Services in Chapel Hill, NC and just couldn't leave without her. Cleo certainly came with an abundance of purrsonalitude, and has staked her claim on our hearts and in our home since day one. It took some long, deep thought, but I decided to pick up where Orbit left off and let Cleo tell her stories. Of course from time to time I'll add some non-Cleo posts, but she'll get over it.
