More on My New Best Friend

Well that was effing crazy, huh?  I don't think I've heard winds that strong since we lived in Wilmington, where the threat of hurricane-force winds wasn't uncommon. Anyhoo, unbelievably, we never lost power, and dad says only a hundred thousand or so smallish branches littered the grounds around our place, so I guess we lucked out.

So if you remember from a November post, mom introduced me to an electric blanket.

Well, I've taken to that thing like mom takes to diet cola (actually, she's trying real hard to wean herself off that once and for all).  It spends most nights- especially lately- on top of the blankets on the bed, but mom also uses it when she's sitting in my chair in the living room.

What more could an old girl ask for than a warm lap made extra warm by an electric blanket?

Ever the NOT funny one, dad says this last one highlights my resting bitch annoyed face.  I call it my sick-of-the-dingleberry-with-a-camera face.

On a more somber note, we learned that poor Knish, from our previous post, disappeared some time ago.  Paws crossed she comes back home soon.

Oh Cleo, a lost cat is never a good thing. Let's hope that kitty makes its way home very very soon. In the meantime you best stay inside out of the wind and all that warm lap. I don't think you look all that disgruntled. I bet if you had a thumb you'd show your dad what it's like to have a camera in your face all day, LOL.

Here's wishing that Knish finds her way home PRONTO!
There are tons of 'how to find a lost cat' info online; we Googled when Celestial Chuck went walkabout years ago, and the advice worked!
Cleo, remember, he can call you all kinds of names, but you've got plenty of names to call him right back!

Nothing wrong with that at all, Cleo. That is a great BFF to have right about now!

We are purring and praying lots that Knish does come back.

Chaplin: "We sure hope Knish comes home soon and are sending lots of purrs for that to happen!"

A heated blanket sounds purrfect! Kind of like my heated bed which I spend a lot of time in these cold days. Purrs that Knish comes home soon. ~Ernie

I am glad you are keeping warm. We have a heated blanket that Joanie and Rosie love. I will add Knish to my prayer list. Please tell them to put the litter box outside as a cat can smell their box a mile away. And set a trap - sardines work great and helped us trap Bridget when she escaped. XO

We too love the heated blanket at our house. It resides down in the man cave now and our human brother shares it with us when he gets home from the late shift at work. We do miss it upstairs and want Mom to get another one. And Cleo, we think your face is adorable, especially you "get that thing out of my face" look! We are purrying that Knish comes home. We hope that you and your Peeps have a marvellously Happy Week!
