All in the (Cat) Family

Dad's oldest daughter's roost has, as you may remember, been ruled by Fifi, an adorable Calico.  Since her introductory post back in December of 2018, their household has expanded to include his daughter's partner and her two totally terrific tabbies.  So without further ado I hereby present to you Knish-

and a most marvelous mancat, Kugel-

We just had to add this extra one of Knish because it's so darn delightful.  She opens up her mouth like this whenever she gets head scritches.
And of course, it likely hasn't escaped you that both names are food-related.  How fitting for dad's extended family.  And now, without further further ado ado, me and dad gotta go eat breakfast . . .

So Cleo, have you ever had the opportunity to share a plate of food with these two handsome kitties? Hope your breakfast was tasty and warm this morning.

They are absolutely gorgeous, and it looks like both of them could give Simon's Tail, over at Brian's Home a run for his purrs!

Knish and Kugel are gorgeous tabbies. Us tabbies are the kings of cats! (At least that is what I, Marv believe). I too love Knish's head rubs face! We hope you all have a marvellously Happy week!

Knish and Kugel are wonderful tabby cats. Mom bean especially likes their floofy tails and pretty green eyes.

Enjoy your breakfast...it will surely be followed by a nap.

About This Blog

Created in July 2011 this blog chronicled the everyday life of a well-seasoned house panther named Orbit, who made the move with us from Massachusetts to North Carolina. He was a nearly constant companion for almost 22 years, and ruled our roost until he passed away in December 2014 which hit us like a ton of bricks.
After more than 2 years without a live-in feline friend we found this senior Tortie gal at Orange County Animal Services in Chapel Hill, NC and just couldn't leave without her. Cleo certainly came with an abundance of purrsonalitude, and has staked her claim on our hearts and in our home since day one. It took some long, deep thought, but I decided to pick up where Orbit left off and let Cleo tell her stories. Of course from time to time I'll add some non-Cleo posts, but she'll get over it.
