Stream of Conciousness Saturday- an all over the place post

as if dad doesn't drink enough coffee many days he runs out after he's ready for work to get mom a barrel of Diet Coke for her a.m. caffeine fix and he says oh, while i'm at it might as well get another coffee well one chilly morning he brought in his convenience store coffee and

Warming the Belly

knowing i like warm things held it against me to help keep me warm everybody should have a dad like mine anyway

ok, now the back

hey you know that pile of puzzles we got recently well mom looked real close at the picture on that dog one and noticed there are three cats in the puzzle as well
Can you find the cats?

dad found a hand sketched drawing of a curious face in the trash (the sketch was in the trash not the face) and decided to hang it up in the spare room over my facilities and added his own speech bubble should i be offended?

whatever anyway me and dad are hard at work on our next post (me on the right, human bobblehead on the left)

oh and happy birthday to dad this weekend he turns
60 can you believe it and he says i'm the old fart sometimes when we write our posts and i'm all squished in next to him and he needs wants more coffee he doesn't like to get up because it'll disturb me so he'll just wait til its time to get ready for work okay i'm done.

Cleo you and your dad follow the same track as my husband. It's a zigzag. I'm with your mom and then I try to keep track of things around here otherwise we'd all be starving and dirty and cold xcetera. If I were you I would take my claws and help remove the picture from the wall. Your dad is funny and me to write a good blog. Thanks for the Saturday uplift.

Cleo, Lynn pulled the plug too quick, we wish your dad a happy birthday, Precious.

Happy Birthday to your Dad, Cleo. You are sure loved by your mom and your dad. That makes MY mom happy to read and see. And I will say all mommy's seem to think alike. Mine thinks like that too. Rarely in a straight line but why should she? This way, our mom's get everything that needs thinking, thunk.

Cleo, as I read your post, there is a Abbott and Costello movie on our TV, and the characters are transfixed by a jigsaw puzzle! Hilarious!
My family played jigsaw puzzles together when I was a kid; the harder, the better!
I inherited those puzzles, but haven't played them due to bringing home Celestial Angel and Chuck in 2004...that's when I stopped knitting too; those kittens were into everything!
Anyhoo, I play online jigsaws while I listen to my audiobooks; multi-tasking!
Used to drink a lot of coffee, but switched to green tea long ago, and only drink a few cups of that a day. The Hubby grinds coffee beans for every cup that he makes; he likes his coffee hot as lava!
Happy Birthday, Cleo's Dad.

Cleo it is for sure a good thing your Mom and Dad have you to keep them grounded and focused....(on your needs) LOL.
I sure was glad there were no people found in the trash just sketches.
Happy 60th to Dad!
We awoke to monsoons today. I heard they came from the West of us so I'm sure you know of what I speak. Thankfully the flash flood warning has been cancelled

Happy Birthday to your Dad, Cleo! It's very nice of him to help keep you warm like that! I found two cats in the puzzle and maybe a third but I'm not sure!

Oh what a wonderful blog and you, you beautiful kitty look justt like Luna, one of mama and papa’s kitties long ago and she was much much loved as I can see you are. What a great dod to warm you with his coffee. And a magnificent active mama, full of energy, and I sleep between mama’s knees, try it one evening. Of course she won’t be able to move but that’s beside the point. Love from Loulou.

A Very Happy Birthday to your servant Cleo. We loved the tummy warmer and that is a cat pouring paint on that dog MOL. That face is something and That is where You Belong You!!! I think all humans think like that. Its whey they serve us, for stability.

Happy birthday to your awesome dad. I think using the coffee cup as a belly warmer is a novel concept.

Your mom sounds exactly like our live-in housekeep Julie. She keeps house for us, but goes on and on about everything else. It's all human stuff and it gets done and so does lovin' on us except now she's somewhere else early mornings. We can't wait for her to get back home, Cleo!!

A big purr and happy birthday to your dad on his special day!

Hee! Hee! Your post sounds like what happens around here! Right now the main litter box is down stairs in the middle of the floor, if it was close to a wall, I KNOW there would be a drawing (of some sort) hanging over it! We too like to squish up against Mom and we also squish up against Alex (our human brother) downstairs. And Mom purticularly like how your Mom's mind works...it sounds just like our Mom's! Do you think it is a Mom thing? And Cleo, have I told you lately how gorgeous you are?

Happy Birthday to your dad bean...he has a couple of years to catch up on our mom bean. Which she says won't happen. What do we know?

Your mom bean's brain works like our mom bean's too. We don't care, much, unless she forgets to feed us. Which we don't let her.

Enjoy the heat Cleo!

Your mom sounds like ours, Cleo, only ours forgets most of what she's thought. Happy belated birthday to your dad on his Talking Heads moment (Well...how did I get here?).

(Well, that's what our mom said on hers--MOL!)

I wonder whose trash held that creepy yet well done artwork. Of course I know you're all the art any proper home needs, Cleo. ;) You're also smart, taking advantage of available lap and warm cup from one doting human while the other (thinking not unlike me some days) cares for you both.

Last but not least, it took me a while to find the cat in that knitting basket after the first two popped out at me. lol Be well and stay warm!
