Puzzle Goldmine

As you know from previous posts, mom and dad enjoy working on jigsaw puzzles together.  It's simple low-key, low-cost fun, and up until that most recent one they even let me help out.  Well, they've since started using a table they picked up for free recently, so that means I no longer get to sprawl out on the pieces offer my assistancešŸ˜ .  Anyway, dad was browsing Asheville's chapter of freecycle.org the other day as he does every morning, and someone posted a collection of jigsaw puzzles.  Always up for free stuff and without knowing or caring what the puzzles were pictures of he contacted the person, and arranged to pick them up that morning, and was pleasantly surprised to see that half of them were cat-themed!  Originally the poster said they had 24 puzzles in all, but by the time they replied to dad, that number was down to 8.  They stated that all of the puzzles but one had all of the pieces, and the one that didn't had only 1 piece missing, even marking on the cover where the piece was missing from.

Yep, that's a dog one in there, too.  So be it.

Cleo, it shows that the people that were giving them away at least know good pets when they see them. Mostly kitty cats and lots of puzzle part. I'd say the dogs can probably be the last puzzle that your mom and dad put together. And maybe they'll put it on a table where you can help with the puppies. Or maybe show the puppies who's in charge is more like it.

That was a good find by your dad. Maybe you can take a sneaky look when they are not about. You never know, you may find the missing piece.

How fun. I love doing puzzles too, but I do them online. Such fun and getting free ones are even better. Love it that most are cat themed.

Have a purrfect day, Cleo. My best to your peeps. ♥

What a great find! I haven't done jigsaws lately but if I did, I'd want them to be cat pictures.

Well, that should keep the beans out of your hair for a bit Cleo. Shame they're not letting you help though.

Maybe they will let you cut out and color the one thats missing Cleo. Or maybe you can snoopervise from the chair?

What a fun find. Many hours of winter fun there. And I'm sure you're able to get up on the table (just use a chair so you don't have to jump so high).

What fun for your humans! And I'm sure you'll help them with those puzzles, right Cleo??

Very cool ! Once they do them, they could make wreaths out of the pieces. There are great ideas on pinterest.

Anything can be tolerated if there are cats involved, Cleo!

Cool! We think your mom and dad should save the dog one for Halloween and put a spell on it!

Well, Cleo, if your mom and dad are going to do something that isn't catering to your every whim, we're glad it sort of involves cats. MOL

I used to like puzzles but we had no where to leave them out and then there were the felines. Maybe I need to get a few for the winter. We have a spot now.
Well better the dog be in the puzzle than in your house.
Hugs and happy Fall Y'all
