Me, Doors, Pooping, Lying and Stuff
The other morning just as I was stepping out of the shower I heard a scratching sound, and as I looked down noted a certain someone's little paw reaching under the door and swatting at my shorts. Cleo has issues with closed doors, and gets annoyed when she encounters one, but occasionally she'll make a game out of it. Usually, though, she'll sit there and stare at the door until we open it. She'll then simply walk in, wander around as if she merely wanted to see what was behind it, then walk back out, curiosity satisfied.
Umm, excuse me Kellyanne, this is not the real story and you know it. Let's be honest here, shall we? What dad's not telling you is that he actually took this picture before getting in the shower while perched on the big white porcelain water dish (gross, I know), and before any of y'all jump to conclusions, the reason dad had his phone in the bathroom was because he was on call for work, and calls come in any time of day or night and he pretty much needs his phone glued to him 24/7. When he's on call it's a permanent part of him, especially in the early morning hours like when this photo was snapped. Mom would be one cranky lady if the phone rang while she was asleep and dad didn't have it with him in there.

Cleo, I just LURV your attitude! "Umm, excuse me Kellyanne..."...LOL! Just so you know, I carry my phone with me everywhere too; not that I'm that important to the office, but because I've always got an audiobook, and use every chance I get to listen to it!
Cleo, it's a good thing you didn't go in right away. You have to let the air clear out. LOL!! We love your attack on the shorts in the photo. Thanks for the share. Have a great upcoming weekend.

Well, now we know why you walked back out of there and didn't stay!
Did you try pulling them under the door?
Well, closed doors are not bery popular here either!
It's good he has you to keep him in line, Cleo!
My human carries the phone when she is expecting an important text or call, but otherwise she is a little lax about it.
Oh Cleo this made me giggle. Angel Madi was not a fan of closed doors either. After all the house every square inch of the house was hers and she needed access.
The giggle part was way back B.M. (before Madi) our house was run by a mighty mini dachshund, Toto. He absolutely HATED closed doors as dis his human sis.
Anytime I went in the bathroom they both sat at the door, Toto whining and and every so often a mini growl and his sister say Mommy when are you coming out.
Hugs Cecilia
We all *have* to peruse and snoopervise the bathroom doings, and will paw, mrouw and whine if we happen to find it closed.
All the former furs that were here before us did the same. What on earth is it with bathrooms anypaws??
Cleo you really should just keep on reaching under those doors and maybe they will start keeping them open. Nothing worse than a closed door
Too cute! Doors are never completely closed around here so Mudpie can come and go freely :)
Oh, my girl, what you have to put up with! But you do it with style and grace.
We bet your dad got quite the chuckle over seeing those adorable little paws of yours trying to join him.
MOL! My Mom quite frequently brings her phone in while she is on the porcelain "throne"...and....has a conversation...disgusting! Love, Cody
Frodo is the exact same way about closed doors!
long az dad doez knot drop de fone IN de toy let...ya noe !!
a fone call frum under sea ~~~ =^.,^=
☺☺♥♥
Seeing a paw under a door absolutely makes my mom act like a 2 year old. You'd think she'd never seen a paw before. Sheesh! She loves the oddest things
One of my human brothers is a software engineer and herds the programmers...does some himself still, and is on call 7-24 unless arranged otherwise which is rare. So he and we all here in the family know what that's like.
You are looking totes gorgeous little girl!
