Now, that being said, Dad's not real happy with me at the moment. Being Saturday, he likes to try to sleep in, which, for him is usually, like, 6:00 or so. I guess I kinda woke him up a little earlier than he'd like to have been, like, oh, about 4:00.
Yup, he woke up to me climbing across his head on his pillow. How am I supposed to know that's wrong? I'm still new here. Still trying to figure things out. Give me a break, dad! I rewarded him by settling in alongside him, though that only lasted until he heard his damn coffee maker finish sputtering. Yeah, he probably would've been up too early anyway since he inadvertently set the timer last night, which he never does on weekends.
Smooth one, dad.

Hi cleo - nice if you to wake your dad up too. Hope you get a better nights sleep tonight.

Well done Cleo! You have to make sure Dad dances to your tune - and sleeps to it too! We felines are the very best waker-uppers as we all know. And your Dad, we believe, is a great softie so you'll have him under your paw pretty darn soon. And keep him guessing on the picking up -it's best that way. As you torties know only too well.
WOW! You sometimes let your Dad sleep till 6?!?! I'm so happy you are doing so well in your forever home!
Hi Cleo and welcome !You are indeed a very pretty Tortie :)
You have lots of nice dark colouring just like our Georgia(who is 14 and has extra toes front and back).
We are so happy you have a great new home and it looks like you will have your peeps trained soon ;) MOL!
Mum likes to sleep in a bit on weekends, but we still come to wake her up.
Sometimes, we start way before the alarm too ;)
Enjoy your new home. We are pretty sure you will be happy :)

I am sure he will forgvive a cutie like you.
Maybe the walking on the head is a tortie thing... Binga has been known to do it too.
P.S. Binga does not think there is anything wrong with doing it.
Cleo, I am sure you knew it was his usual time to get up and were being so helpful to see that he didn't over sleep. You know he wouldn't want to get late! Perfectly understandable and very considerate of you! Good Girl!
And the fact that he set the coffee pot timer is evidence that he actually did want to get up even if it was a weekend. It was his subconscious getting him up to be with you very early in the morning.
Love to the Whole Family,

Cleo, that's what cats do...we're sure your dad knows that and while he may not have liked it...we know he really wasn't mad at you.
I can't really blame him for being upset! Mudpie was an early bird in the beginning too but now she loves to sleep in as late as I do :)
Hi Cleo it is so nice to meet you.
Cleo, The Dad now needs to learn that YOU are the one making the rules...when it's time to wake up, when it's time to feed you (all of the time!), and when it's time to clean that litter box (every 24 hours, on the dot!).
Silly hoomins! You must assimiliate to OUR schedule.
