This is nothing out of the ordinary 'round here, but I don't know- there sure is something about that darn electric blanket that sucks our furry little senior lady cat into la la land...

Illusion O'Floof

I guess it's just the angle, but this photo gives my tail a lot more floof than it actually has.   Here, I was sitting atop dad while he and mom were still in bed.  When I think it's time for them to get up this is one of the rousing techniques I use.

Other techniques include walking all over them, using my litterbox and then sitting on/near their face, staring at them until they move, facing away from them/flashing my butt and generally restlessly moving around/on/over them til they get so annoyed they get their lazy human butts out of bed.  Y'all are with me on this, no?

And Still More All in the (Cat) Family

 Wow, I guess I didn't realize we hadn't posted in a while.  Dad's computer time's been commandeered by other stuff lately.  Anyhoodles, I guess I must be softening up in my golden years because I'm getting better about sharing.  One of dad's sons up in Connecticut recently sent him a photo of this adorable little cuddle muffin.  Her name's Coco, and she's got the cutest little squeak of a meow. 

I swear- if this doesn't melt your heart, then, well, you must not have one!
