Smudge, even if you don't have a big story today we love seeing you. We had wind and rain and when we got up the next morning most of the trees were naked. Precious isn't going outside near as much. Too cold in the mornings. We look forward to another update when you get a chance.
And sadly, the world is turning gray ~ or is it grey? A metaphor for all that is going on around us? (feel free to delete my rather depressingly "grey/gray" comment...) Yet, Smudge is a bright spot, isn't she?
Well, Smudge, it's that time of year now. The glory of summer is waning, and the dark half of the year is taking over. Many, many years ago, Halloween was The Hubby's and my first date. And here we are, still stuck together.

I know how you feel, Smudge. We got back from a Mediterranean cruise yesterday with warm sunny days. Today I woke to grey drizzly skies and the cold. We were getting 70+ and this morning 35F! And as for being nearly dark at 4.30 yesterday, I want to go back and live on the ship! You are looking lovely, and brightened my day though.
