It's not uncommon for me to go upstairs and curl up for a nice long nap on mom and dad's bed, and one day recently dad came up and found me wedged comfortably between their pillows.
With some of the temperatures we've had lately, I figured this was a good spot for me to tuck myself away all toasty-cozy to snooze away the day.

And while we're on the subject of snoozing, dad wanted to toss in some pictures of me nodding off on the footrest.
Nothing spectacular, I tried to tell him, but apparently, he and mom had a good giggle watching me fall asleep this one night, my head slowly, slowly sliding downward and off the edge of the footrest.
If this is their idea of entertainment, I'd say they need to get out more, wouldn't you?

Smudge one of the common misbeliefs humans have is that we cats are supposed to entertain the humans. Especially in this bitter cold winter they need a little live entertainment. Now me, I'm either under the bed or in my bed tent where they can't look at me without getting on their hands and knees and bugging me. I try not to be too entertaining. Precious

Smudge, you are experiencing the things we cats have had to tolerate since tie began. We are the chief entertainers in their lives. Guess we gotta pay for kibble and stinky goodness somehow. *treats? Did you say treats??*

Be glad they are home watching you, there's no knowing what trouble they could get into if they got out more where you couldn't keep an eye on them.
Feeling comfy things enclosing ya is good. And TBT says, on the rare occasions he has seen one of us actally fall asleep, he just loves it.

That's my idea of entertainment too! It cracks me up to see cats fall asleep like that, like you're too tired to hold your head up. As if cats do anything to get THAT tired! MOL

I'm sorry to disagree, dear Smudge, but the antics of you and your ilk make staying home the best. :D Here we think so-called 'cat TV' is about humans being entertained. lol And us entertaining our girls is like a bonus. Be well!

We entirely agree with you, Smudge. Between the pillows is the purrfect place for a snooze - or else under the duvet. Right across the middle of the bed, of course.
