As determined as I've been to make a concentrated effort to keep Smudge's posts entirely from her perspective, it's hard not to want to simply share some of my favorite photos of her, pictures that need no captions or explanations. Smudge is probably the most quirky, moody & snippety cat we've had, but she has her moments- mostly when she's asleep, of course😊- when her mom and I can't help but look at her and feel our hearts melt away. Smudge just passed her 1-year Gotcha Day with us, so what better time to share the joy she brings us-
And last, I know I said no explanations, but note who still to this day gets more space on the footrest.

At least Smudge is willing to be out in the open where you can see her. That's more than I can say for the cat that lives in this house. Once she goes to bed until lunch time she's out of sight.

Brian OMCs OMCs I am 1000% with you Smudge has the most adorable positions and expressions...My favorite well they are all my favorite but I smiled at her sleeping with her paw over her eyes and OMCs that close of of her adorable nose.

Smudge is such a pretty girl. My Silver was a similar color and temperament. We called her the Princess because of her attitude.
