As you know, dad and I like to sit together most early mornings. That's when dad gets his computer & blogging stuff done, and of course he needs my assistance most of the time.
On this particular Sunday morning we were posting our comments on all y'all's blogs, dad tapping away and me, well, doing what I do best, and I managed to get in some tantalizing chin scritches.
We apologize for the poor focus on this last one.
Either dad had had his fill of his maple flavored liquid jolt or the motion of him giving me my scritches caused the fuzziness. Here we are, almost a month past Christmas and as you can see their little Christmas shrub is still alive. Dad's oldest daughter sent out a Christmas package that should ordinarily have arrived in time for Christmas morning, but didn't show up until a few days ago. Luckily, the shrub is for year-round enjoyment, so they had a place to hang the grandkids' special handmade ornaments to display post-Christmas.

Isn't it funny how hoomans do not seem to be able to function without our expert assistance. They're very dim sometimes.
I think your dad did good to take good picture of you Cleo with 1 hand. Lynn isn't that focused, lol. Nice to have a real tree in the house. We kitties have our own paws full keeping our human in order. Precious
Cleo you and dad are a great pair. You are his wrist rest and he is your chin scratcher...and on top of that Dad is great at multitasking.
Near 60 in Raleigh today...but tomorrow barely 40 then they are threatening us with mumbles of the 's' word on Thursday. Living in NC is never boring

PS meant to say if love your Norfolk Island Pine...at least that is what it looks like to me. I had one for years....way back when we were owned by Milky-Way the tabby. For a while the thought it was 'his' to dig in.
I finally figured out a way to put tinfoil up all around it to keep him away.
Kitties are more fun than a barrel of monkeys

You and your dad make a good team, Cleo.
Torties have such a special relationship with their dads- my Penny is the same. Nice to see photos of beautiful you instead of outside stuff. XO
Beautiful photos! You look like you're dictating blog posts and comments to your dad.
I love these cozy photos.
You have a wonderful family, Cleo. ~nods~ And I appreciate all your kind remarks on my post. Don't worry, though, your secret saccharin side is safe with me. ~grin~ Give your humans lots of love, sweet kitty, and enjoy the well deserved returns.
