Remember many posts ago, where you got a glimpse of dad's oh-so-sexy blue shiny slippery lounge shorts? Well, mom brought them out again.
She systematically packs and unpacks their seasonal garments, and with the warmer weather comes the shorts they like to lounge in.
As much as I don't care for bare skin at least these things cover enough of dad's lap for me to be comfortable, which is their number one concern, right? I wanted this post to be about my never ending search for the most comfortable position, but of course dad had to make it about those damn shorts.

That's funny sweet Cleo! When Angel Kit was still with us she didn't like it when the Dad wore shorts either, she preferred blue jean lap time. Have a fun weekend!
Cleo, our temps changed so fast, that my summer clothes are still packed away! Perhaps I'll get to it on this long weekend, or I might just pretend I'm a cat and do nothing...

How do you not slide right off those, Cleo? At least it seems you don't get the old "It's too hot for cats" excuse!
Oh, and our old bat mom forgot to let us tell you that in reality we don't even have a grill, so Elliott's wishes will not be fulfilled. You can still come over, though--we'll find something fun to eat! It's a no-diet holiday weekend, after all!

Your dad should make sure that YOU pick out his clothes! That way you can ensure you're comfy.

Cleo.. our Admiral used to dislike bare skin but I don't mind it too much. I also prefer regular cotton...guess I'm picky.

If those shorts are too short for you, maybe Dad could sacrifice a pair of sports pants (the nylon kind so he doesn't roast) and make a pair of knee-length cut-offs.
