More Morning with Dad
As with most mornings here, I've learned that I have to share dad's lap with the laptop. Most often I try to wedge myself (shut up, dad- I know you want to insert one of your stupid jokes about my size...) between the keyboard and dad's belly, but now and then I switch things up. On this particular morning I thought I'd try out an armrest pose. I may be on the larger side, but I still have the best balance. Oh, and the claws to help hold me in place!

Maybe if your Dad had a smaller belly, you wouldn't have to "wedge" yourself. Just a thought!
Cleo, you so remind my mom of the one who came before...Admiral. That is a compliment to you both.
I love me some arm rest! I go back and forth between mom's lap and the arm rest. I like to form a log on either one. As long as I am petted and talked to while I roll around on her or the arm rest, I am on top of my world.

That's a great spot! Working on the laptop can be challenging with Mudpie around too :)
We have found claws make all the difference in the world.
Around here, the laptop sits on a TV tray. It still doesnt give us a lap, but at least we can wedge in behind him.
Dear Cleo, some of us are also in that same predicament, not being allowed to stay wedged between lap and laptop, but we've since discovered no only is the armrest comfy, it offers easy and quick reach to said laptop, in particular, to the laptop keyboard! Not only can we "help" our Dad with his work, we've known for "helping" add items to his amazon purchase order! More treats and toys for us! Hope this helps you, too, with your newly discovered sitting position.
Amarula tries to sit on my keyboard! She has yet to try the armrest-what is it about tortie's that they can't stand when you are not focusing on them!
