Ongoing Recovery Mode

I can't adequately express my appreciation for all your very kind words and well-wishes.  I'm still plugging along, and mom and dad are going on with their mini-vacation plans.
Dad's co-worker, who's gonna be seeing to my food 'n poop needs, stopped by last night to get the latest, and he says he'll take care of me.
Mom and dad are constantly worried, especially about my worsening eating habits.  I'm down to just over 5 pounds now, and dad says my bumpy backbone reminds him of a stegosaurus, whatever the hell that is.
This'll be my last post until probably the weekend, when they get back.  I let dad think I need him to keep this up.  Makes him feel important.
These pix are from last night, showing my shaved arm and my many recuperatin' poses.
     Thanks again, all.

Hehehe - a stegosaurus! Yeah, that figures - or are you a skeletesaurus? Whatever, Orbit, there's a huge hearted mancat in there who ain't ready to give up yet. You've found a way into our hearts and we wish we could help warm those ol' bones. Look after yourself while the humans are away - and don't give the cat sitter too tough a time - he's not fully trained.

You have poodle leg, Orbit! Just don't let the fix-it people do the other three legs!

I hope your folks have a relaxing time. My mom says being seaside is very calming, although I personally would be more interested in the sand. Maybe they'll bring you back a fishie or something. (Hey, maybe you can get the catwatcher to give you some baby food while you wait! Ham is my favorite.) In any case, I know they will be thinking of you the whole time.

Thank you for the sweet comment about my bro, especially since I know it's been a hard time for you. I appreciate every comment you've left.

We have been away for a while and are just now catching up. Dear Orbit, please eat something! Skootch is an oldster, and our mom mixes in a bit of water because he likes the gravy. Hang in there!

I'm sending lots of purrs your way, Orbit! Take care of yourself while the humans are away - I'm sure their friend will do a good job of watching over you too.

Hope your humans have a lovely time and don't worry about you too much! It would help if you ate more. Please? You are just too skinny! You need to fluff out!

Cuddle time with Dad is always a good thing..

and a stegosaurus is a very fierce and powerful creature that is a force to be reckoned with..

Orbit, I hope you enjoy spending some time with your cat-sitter and maybe get a little of your appetite back.

Cuddles with Dad are absolutely the best. We're glad you are doing well enough that the humans can take their mini-vacation. Be a good kitty and eat all your noms while they are away. Happy Thanksgiving. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
