Blue Jean Baby

Can you see the theme?  Dad says I'm far from tiny, and he most certainly is no dancer, but these show three of his favorite things (mom being #1 of course): comfy blue jeans, pre-80's Elton John and Yours Truly.  He's been on an Elton John thing since this past weekend when he and mom watched Rocket Man, a movie he'd been looking forward to but in which he was somewhat disappointed. Dad had the first 12 or so Elton John albums, from 1969's Empty Sky to A Single Man, released the year before dad graduated from high school.  After that and up until 1992's The One dad feels things went off in a different direction.  Anyway, I'm not sure how this got off track and away from being about me, but he's the one who controls the laptop, so I'll just let him do his thing and get it out of his system.

Cleo, I'm betting that your dad believes that you cannot destroy his blue jeans, but I know that cat claws still poke holes and pull threads...

You are a sweet Blue Jean Baby, Cleo, and no-one can stop you from dreaming of being a Tiny Dancer.

You are such a cutie. Tell your Dad to read his new memoir title ME, it was great.

And did he ask you if *you* wanted to listen to that? We bet he even sang along, too, didn't he?

The mom is a huge Elton John fan and had most of his albums (she sold most of them when albums became outdated even though they're making a comeback again). Ask your dad if he had the soundtrack to the movie Friends (which nobody saw, but EJ did all the music for).

Cleo what a darlin' post. And your photos are just gawgeous!!!

ANgel Madi loved nothing better than to start pawing at the bottom of my jeans ans slowly working her sweet paws up to the seam which she then liked to scratch on...

Sometimes it's best to let a human do his or her thing before reigning them back under control. Jezebel just yawned agreement. ~grin~ You look great on denim, by the way.

Us humans can get a little crazy about our favorite music! I'm sad to say Mudpie isn't a huge fan of music of any kind. You're a good kitty for keeping your dad company.

Boy, momma has that tough 14 oz. denim Wrangler used to make. Now it's all wimpy 6 oz or faintly better. BUT she'll take it...no matter how heavy it is or how light. You look pawsome of course. My mom would LOVE to give you some smoochies on your gorgeous candy bar colored furs, but with your explicit permission of course. But she knows she isn't able to do so. She can dream though...

Our mom bean was never a big Elton John fan, but did like some of his music. She saw Rocketman in the theatre shortly after it came out. It was okay but not great. Bohemian Rhapsody and Yesterday were better movies in her mind.

You look lovely Cleo!
