Confession? Self-own? Projection? I'm no language pro, English major, or wordologist, and God knows dad's not much help. I'm just trying to qualify these words and phrases upchucked during a speech the president gave at the Department of Justice the other day.

I'm going with Confession |
As a side note, this sunset is an undoctored, unfiltered photo dad took at work last year. He's been waiting to share it and thought it provided a perfect backdrop for this post, so yeah.
Finally, we don't typically get political in my blog and we're not very outspoken, but with the shit that's been happening, especially lately, more people need to speak out in whatever way they can. Too many humans, especially your elected officials, have been sticking their heads in the sand. And hey, if you contributed this past November to the horrifying current state of affairs, all comments are welcome, and healthy, normal political discourse is always encouraged. But there's nothing healthy or normal about anything that's going on right now. Nothing.

Smudge you and your dad are so correct. Nothing good is happening. My head was not in the sand in November and I did not approve of any of the election. Today it gets worse by the day. However we love the fact that you posted, and that you let dad put that beautiful sky picture up.
Morning Smudge….
Sometimes words fail me too. But I do know for certain that is a beautiful photo than Dad for sharing
Hugs cecilia
Sorry for anonymous, blogger has been messing with me this weekend.
Had to delete yesterday and today and repost
Hugs Cecilia
That is a beautiful photo but sadly spoiled by the words of the orange man. Here in the UK we are looking in from the outside and I know I can only speak for myself, but I am appalled at what is going on.
I don't post about it on my blog but have told of my feelings in comments on other posts. I have noticed I am getting less comments lately, well so be it. I am not changing my opinions for the sake of extra comments.
After 18 years of "pet" blogging, June has grudgingly allowed "her human" to start spewing forth "pawlitically". It was either that or she knew said human would likely jump out the 16th floor window and no one would be there to feed her, meow. Usually she hides in the closet (often) when the bad werdz start (also often). More and more she is running out of bad werdz however, having used them all up ... and chaos, so overused. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, it's good to have others Shouting Out Loud!
That's a beautiful sunset.
We try not to comment on other country's pawlitics, although We certainly have enough to say about Our Own.
illegally influencing judges, isn't that the pot calling the kettle black! everything that's quoted there describe him and his sycophants to a tee! America is now like living in china or russia and i'm going to blame all those who voted for him!

Didn't we learn in school that there were checks and balances built into our government?
Where the heck are they?
Such a lovely sunset sky. May such words and acts of the villain of the piece never mar such beauty for real.
Have a wonderful and happy week.

Definitely a confession. The man needs to be locked up.
Good for you and Dad for saying what needs to be said !
Beautiful photo. I admire you for speaking up. I never get into politics on my blog. XO
Crazy words from a crazy source. I got in trouble on social media for suggesting they change Hail to the Chief to A Fool on the Hill.
It's a confession, smudge. He and his sycophants are straight up evil and corrupt.
