Whatever

He's all better, folks. He calmed down. He still hasn't figured out the video thing, but after taking a little road trip for mom's birthday last week, his demeanor changed with a replenishment of one of his favorite things (you called it, Mackerull!).

In spite of some clouds, mom and dad caught a glimpse or two of the eclipse during their outing, and although they had those special glasses, the best pictures were taken without them.
No, he didn't look directly at it...

There are a few dad took through the glasses, but they just look like a hazy, blurry little sun. Maple syrup? Total eclipse? As far as I'm concerned, I couldn't give a rat's butt.

Mom and dad call this my annoyed face, which I apparently give them all the time. Whatever.

Smudge, you've got that look down pat. I'm sure your mom and dad get the hint every time you're aggravated. We had the eclipse here too, but I slept through it all. After all dark is meant for kitty sleeping time. At least when it was over the sun came out and I had a sun puddle before this monsoon hit us.

We bought a iPhone filter for the eclipse, and it was just a pain in the tushy to work with.
However, the experience of being in 100% totality was GROOVY; so very groovy.
Smudge, your humans with that could keep that look on their faces; they are jealous of you.
hehehehe

Hi Smudge ~ June here, I'm giving that annoyed face a Five ***** Star Rating. In fact, mine Mommy printed out a copy for me, it's pasted on the litter-loo room mirror, so I can look at me 'n' you and practice That Look. It's a Most Impawtent Look to have, useful and practical for many occasions, so I thank you.

You are such a cutie. Glad your dad is better and scored some syrup. I hope sometime when your folks visit Massachusetts, I can meet them. :)

Oh, you just have a beautiful relaxed expression. ~nods~ I had trouble posting video, too.

But I had set up a Youtube channel for a video last year. That made it workable.

So I hope this helps your dad. And know that you are appreciated, sweet girl. Blessings to you and yours.

We got to see the eclipse at 99.7% totality which while not as good as 100%, was still pretty cool. The mom didn't take any pictures though. ~Ernie

We saw the 92% version of the eclipse here, Smudge. It was cool for us humans, but Ava seemed nonplussed. How nice that Dad god some genuine maple syrup to enjoy!

Oh Smudge you have the best facial expressions!!!!! We hardly had any of the eclipse here in the Detroit area.....should have gone to Cleveland where it was 100 percent! YAY for maple syrup!

That is a good annoyed face!

You're not annoyed, you just have a serious expression. There's a name for humans that always appear serious (or annoyed) but it's not suitable to put on a kitty-friendly blog. :-)
