TV Time with Dad/Strings/Easter Greetings

I have my moments with both mom and dad when I feel like being the adoring little feline companion and not my usual crusty senior self. Here, I'm enjoying a bit of TV (translated: laptop) with dad,

and here, the hood string on his jacket got my attention while he was coming in close, his scruff invading my personal space.

Even though I have a plastic bin of random toys, I find joy in pretty much any kind of string. Until I don't. You know, as much as he has plenty to say about my belly, I'm noticing more than one chin in this last photo, am I not? Anyhoo, Happy Easter, everyone. Dad's off mutt-sitting again this week while mom and I hold down the fort, just two gals, all alone with only each other for company. We kind of annoy each other equally, so it's all good.

Smudge, kind of fun seeing you help your dad try to figure out how to tie the hood on his jacket ship. As humans need all the help we can get you know. The nice thing is that picture shows you two face-to-face very close. We knew you'd get the hang of living with mom and dad real soon. Happy Easter, and we hope your dad has fun with those giant dogs.

Sometimes it's nice to get the dudes away, so the ladies can relax!
Am betting that your meowmy reads books, so make sure you put yourself between her and her reading, Smudge.

Smudge, I suggest checking out buttons from time to time (if you work hard enough, removal is possible) ... zippers can be problematical. Pockets are interesting, get the paw in deep, a treasure may be waiting. All in all, yes, these things, always at the ready are far more interesting that "toys".
Happy Bunny Hopping to you and your whole (or half whole it seem right now) family.
Your friend, the cat June

Finding things to make your own toys to play with is more fun than digging in the toy box.

String does bring endless fun with it, especially if it is attached to a human!

Poor Dad!! Having an EXTREMELY demanding woofie who lives here (he helps destroy my desire to blog lol), I know how hard it is!! Please thank Dad for his kind words, I hadn't realized I hadn't blogged since Valentine's Day. I usually only blog when the mood hits, so I guess that speaks volumes! lol. Glad to see you are doing well Smudge! I love your mom and dad and you too! Thank you for caring about how I am doing!! I'm ok!! But.......can your Dad take Levi for a couple of weeks? BWWWWAHHH!!!! Oh and Happy Easter!

Smudge, I think the best toys are the things that aren’t intended to be toys. Hope you and your mom are having a good Easter ~Ernie
