And Some More Not About Me, So I Don't Care

So being the outdoorsy type mom and dad like to take pictures wherever they go.  Though they miss the real mountains out in western North Carolina they don't seem to have a problem finding places around here to "hike".  I put that term in quotes because I really think sometimes it makes them feel good about getting out and walking around and calling it hiking.
Whatever you call it, I'm happy as long as they don't try to get me out there with them.  I have heard them more than once saying words like "leash", "harness" and "exercise" with my name in between, and I certainly hope that doesn't mean they plan on trying to get me outside.  I'm purrfectly happy to stay indoors full time.  I get my dose of outdoors when I sit in the window, and that's good enough for me.  Dad doesn't remember where, exactly these photos were taken (pretty sure out Asheville way, you dumbfutz) or how long ago, and he's too damn lazy to go back and see which folder mom had them in.  she's the organized one around here.
He just goes through the pictures and tosses the words out on the screen and hopes for the best.  Oops- I mean he helps me write these things.

The photos are beautiful! I am not a fan of the outdoors either...no leash/harness for me! My Mom's Angel Bobo used to LOVE going out on his leash though. Love, Cody catchatwithcarenandcody

Those pictures are gorgeous. Ashville is such a pretty place. Some of us stay in and some rather be outside. Have a great day.

Cleo, compared to your photos, where I live is totally FLAT! And whatever: hiking or walking...it's all good, and you'd LURV getting some outside whiffies if you were on a leash; here me now, believe me later!

Dad told us he used to ride his motorcycle through that wonderful countryside. Before it bit his leg off that is.

Such beautiful sceneries! I'm not outdoorsy myself, but it must be really nice to go on a hike on those mountains!

Beautiful photos. You may like a harness just to go out in your yard. My Phoebe loved it.

Cleo, it might be fun to get out there.

No photos of you? What is this, anyway? And Cleo? You MUST say no to the leash!

P.S. Our mom thought the photos were beautiful. Meh.

I dunno... I enjoy going out on my leash. So does Binga, who is 17. (She learned how to do it from me when she was 15.)

My peeps are mountain peeps at heart. They'd love to live in Western NC
but alas my human sis and bil would have to travel all the way across the state to see them so we live just 3 hours from them instead
Hugs madi your bfff
PS mom wonders if some one actually model that crazy pant suit that was pictured at the end of our post and most of all how they got in it? MOL

Just had to come and visit after reading your comment on Madi's blog today! Lovely photos of the mountains. My human carer Gail spent a long weekend in Ashville NC in 1989 and says it is a beautiful area for lovers of the outdoors (such as she is).
Toodle pip!
Bertie (who, being a dog, loves to hike).

My Mommy has the same ideas! I'm not quite sure how I feel about it yet...it might be fun, but it might be really scary too! --Mudpie

Your mountains are very green and lush. Ours (in Northern California) get very dry. I think your desire to be an indoor kitty is best. I've been taken in the back yard on occasion, but it's not my favorite place and 20 minutes out is more than enough for me.

Mommy and I live in TN very very near the Great Smoky Mountains. Know what you mean. She travels over the mountains going to Charlotte to see my other favorite brother.
